Airbourne på vej med et nyt album
Airbourne har underskrevet en kontrakt med Spinefarm Records, og bekræfter at der arbejdes på et album som vil udkomme i løbet af 2015.
Frontfigur Joel O’Keeffe fortæller, at bandet glæder sig emget til samarbejdet med Spinefarm Records: “We’re pumped up to have signed to the world's toughest and truest hard rock label, Spinefarm. We’ve worked with some of the guys on this team in the past, and we’re extremely confident about having each other’s back in the trenches for many hard rockin' years to come"
Hardrock bandet Airbourne er ved at afslutte turné arbejdet, og begynder at kigge fremad. Første skridt er - som nævnt - et nyt album. Bagefter forventer frontfigur Joel O'Keefe, at der skal indspilles et livealbum i form af en *old school" dobbelt livealbum på CD og vinyl. Joel O'Keefe har i det hele taget et meget godt billede af sin målgruppe som det fremgår af citatet nedenfor.
"But recording a live album is something that we will do. Probably on the next tour because we'd have enough material to make a good, solid live double disc.
"That's what we wanna do, we wanna go old school with our ideas. We don't wanna do a half-arsed iTunes release. Fuck off, we wanna do double fucking CD or double vinyl because that's cool. People who like our band like things like that. They want to go, 'I wanna go to the gig, I wanna buy the vinyl, I want the fucking band to sign it and I wanna go home and crank it. Smoke some weed, drink some beers and fucking bang a chick on the couch. That's what they want to do."
